I played the trumpet in high school and later studied music in college for a short time. Life then intervened, and I switched to software development. I didn’t lose my passion for creating music, and I continued to study music composition, obtaining the necessary software tools to compose music.

Becoming a skilled composer requires a significant amount of time and effort. When AI music generation appeared on the scene, I jumped at the chance and checked it out! It removed all the barriers in my way to create fully orchestrated songs that were of professional quality. The songs I heard in my head now had a path to reality.

So, what is it like to create exceptional songs with AI? It is a lot more work than most people think. The best way to describe it is that it's like herding cats. One must understand the patterns the AI uses to generate output and, in response, compose the appropriate meta tags to nudge the AI in the desired direction.
